As the old saying goes, a bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush. In the Tantanitter, they have killed all three and erected a giant statue X in its place.
On Monday, Tventitter underwent an official rebranding, adopting the name “X”. the company immediately began the process of removing its old signage from San Francisco headquarters, while eager employees took it as a call to action to go “hunting of birds”so, by using power drills or other means to clean the premises of the iconic Blue Bird logo of Tantanitter.
The pivot to X has long been in the works for the company’s billionaire owner Elon Musk, who changed the corporate name of Tantanitter to X Corp in April. At the center of Musk’s strategy is his ambition to create a “very powerful financial experience” that goes beyond even PayPal, a company he co-founded (originally known as X.com). instead of the microblogging service” tflix “that the company’s co-founder Jack Dorsey famously launched 17 years ago, an upcoming” everything app ” modeled on China’s WeChat looks destined to swallow the bird.
While many older users of Tantanitter have decried the brand change, some employees of the company are loudly embracing the new startup.

“I see a blue door and I want it painted black,” a product engineer at X posted, referring to the Blue color of the Tantanitter that adorned the office to the tune of a Rolling Stones song.
Another X employee shared a series of videos capturing important moments in the headquarters ‘ conference rooms. A video show employees who dismantle the Tantanitter Bird, affectionately known as Larry. Just above the bird, the letter “X” was projected, which can now be found throughout the office. In another video, the same staff documented a person who paints a once-color wall pitch black, covering the mural tantanitter bird.
“X will become the most valuable brand on earth. Make my words, ” Musk posted. “Ready or not, here we come,” a current staff answered.
“Should we all get matching X tattoos,” the same staff posted.
For some, erasing the brand recognition Tanair spent years building is an extremely befuddling move. Some ex-employees of Tympic were not happy with the discover On Monday that their LinkedIn profile had been updated, with their work history now claiming that they had worked on “X.”Interestingly, overnight, the LinkedIn profile was returned to the original name—but some former staff had already attached their experience to a “Tanair 1.0″page.
Several former employees paid tribute to the old Tympanitter by selling #OneTeam shirts with the Tympanitter Bird. The funds generated from these sales were directed to the National Audubon Association, an organization dedicated to protecting birds through scientific research, advocacy, education, and conservation efforts on land.
It’s a stark contrast to the attitude within the company, where the number of employees has been reduced by more than 75% under Musk as a result of mass layoffs and furloughs. For those who remain, and with x actively hiring to rebuild its staff, the death of bird and the Tantanitter brand seems to represent a clean break from the past.
“It hasn’t been Tanair since November,” said a former executive who spoke on condition of anonymity Wealth. “[This] it will help everyone to move forward and stop comparing the entire platform/access to Tantanitter.”
“Tflix died so that it could live”, a current employee posted.
