Venice & Toronto 2023 Film Fest Line-Ups-Dark Horizons

Both the Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals have announced their gala and competitive lineups in the last 24 hours.

While the actor’s strikes have limited talent that can be showcased, with some titles opting to keep hitting the fall fest circuit this year, there are still plenty of big name titles set to feature at the celebrations.

The 80th edition of the Venice Film Festival will include David Fincher’s “the Killer,” Michael Mann’s “Ferrari,” Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla,” Bradley Cooper’s “Maestro,” Yorgos Lanthimos’s “Poor Things,” Ava DuVernay’s “Origin,” Pablo Larain’s “El Conde,” Luc Besson’s “Dogman” and Nikolaj Arcel’s “the Promised Land” in competition among many others.

In addition, the “The8onderful Story of Henry Sugar” will feature Anderson, Richard Linklater’s “Hitman,” “The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial” and Roman Polanski’s “the Palace” will also feature out of competition, while J’s “Society of the Snoflix” will also feature. a. Bayona will close the holiday, which runs from August 30 to September 9.
