The Virgin River spoilers follow.
The Virgin River Season 5 is expected to premiere this fall, with a slew of newly released first-look photos helping fans ease the wait.
The new Netflix chapter will take things after the big turn at the end of last season. As viewers will know, we discovered that Charmaine Roberts ‘ (Lauren Hammersley) twins, in fact, are not Jack Sheridan’s (Martin Henderson), but the child of protagonist mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) is.
Since Jack and Mel are currently in a relationship, order seems to have been restored, although there are still some questions that need to be answered. And there’s a devastating fire on the horizon to bring even more drama.

In a screenshot from the fifth episode of the new piece, Chairwoman Hope McCrea (Annette O’toole) and John ‘Preacher’ Middleton (Colin Laantanrence) watch in the distance a fire ravaging the forest surrounding the Virgin River.
And it seems more drama is heading the way of Paige Lassiter (Lexa Doig) as she shares very concerned looks with the preacher in another image.
The show left Vince’s (Steve Bacic) bad luck in a limbo last season, but it seems viewers will finally find out if he’s gone for good.

Meanwhile, Vernon ‘ Doc ‘ Mullins (Tim Matheson) has something serious on his mind as he is faced with his diagnosis of wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD).
Although she does not appear in the new images, Hammersley’s return as Charmaine still seems plausible. But it looks like we’ll have to wait until the show returns to know for sure.

She is Jack’s friend with benefits who has been pregnant since Season 1 (yes, they really take things slow in this quiet little town).
Four chapters later, it could be time for her pregnancy to come to an end, with a father discovering guaranteed to have an impact on Jack after he’s been lying for months.
The Virgin River Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix. Season 5 has yet to receive an official release date.
